Este lunes se publicó la lista de series nominadas para los Critics Choice Awards 2022. Los premios, que están en manos de los críticos más importantes de Estados Unidos.
La cadena con más nominaciones es HBO con un total de 20, siendo Succession la más destacada con 8 y Mare of Easttown con 5 respectivamente. La primera nominada a Mejor serie dramática y por los intérpretes Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Nicholas Braun, Kieran Culkin, Matthew Macfadyen, J. Smith-Cameron y Sarah Snook. La segunda por Mejor serie limitada, es decir una serie que fue planeada para tener una sola temporada y por los actores: Kate Winslet, Evan Peters, Julianne Nicholson y Jean Smart.
Le sigue Netflix con 18. Con producciones como La casa de papel, Lupin, Narcos: México y El juego del calamar en la categoría de mejor serie de lengua extranjera. Esta última además compite en mejor serie dramática y mejor actor por el protagónico de Lee Jung-jae. Entre otras como Bo Burnham: Inside como Mejor especial de comedia o Sex Education donde Ncuti Gatwa va por el premio de Mejor actor secundario en serie de comedia.
Hulu queda en tercer lugar con 11 donde destacan Only Murders in the Building con 4: Mejor comedia y las nominaciones de su trío protagónico: Steve Martin, Martin Short y Selena Gomez. Y Dopesick con 3: Mejor serie limitada más los reconocimientos a Michael Keaton y Kaitlyn Dever.
Disney+ se llevó 6, siendo la primera vez que una serie de Marvel es nominada a estos premios Con WandaVision compitiendo en Mejor serie limitada, y en cuanto a actuación se destacó a Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen y Kathryn Hahn. Además, What If…? Va como Mejor serie animada.

En esta última categoría también compiten series como Bob’s Burgers de la cadena Fox, Big Mouth y Q-Force ambas de Netflix.
HBO Max, Paramount+ y Apple TV´+ empatan con 9 nominaciones cada una. De la primera destacando Hacks con 3: Mejor comedia además de reconocimientos a Jean Smart y Hannah Einbinder. De la segunda Evil con 5: Mejor serie dramática más los reconocimientos a Mike Colter, Katja Herbers, Andrea Martin y Christine Lahti. La principal serie nominada de la última es Ted Lasso con 4: Mejor comedia y las nominaciones de Jason Sudeikis, Brett Goldstein y Hannah Waddingham
Mención honorifica a Pose de FX y sus 3 nomiaciones: Mejor serie dramática más las de Billy Porter y MJ Rodriguez. Y Dr. Death de Peacock también con 3: Mejor serie limitada y las actuaciones de Joshua Jackson y Christian Slater.
La 27ava edición de la ceremonia de entrega del Critics Choice Awards espera realizarse el 9 de enero de 2022, compartiendo fecha con los Globos de Oro. Siendo transmitida por el canal The CW.
